Outside work, I use small experiments to question assumptions I don't get to question in production systems. SIFT began as a software experiment around cognitive friction. What it exposed eventually pushed me beyond the screen.
SIFT began with a simple question: when stuck in overthinking or task paralysis, can software help make the problem smaller? I built a structured AI interaction that decomposed a thought or task into progressively smaller layers — moving toward something concrete enough to act on.
SIFT tried to solve task paralysis inside the same phone environment already competing for attention. So I moved the interaction into the physical world.
NudgeQ asks a narrower question: can the moment between knowing what to do and actually starting feel more physical, immediate and playful? Instead of another mobile app, I built a standalone desktop object around speaking, turning, choosing and moving.
Looking backward, the interest in physical interaction predated NudgeQ. My M.Des thesis at IIT Hyderabad explored how smartphone sensors and movement could become part of the interface itself — asking what happens when interaction leaves the conventional screen.
I built a functional interaction prototype using smartphone sensor streams (ZigSim / OSC) to control virtual camera perspective and environment logic inside Unreal Engine. Instead of treating the phone as a passive screen, physical rotation and gesture inputs directly drove 3D spatial navigation.

Some things become products. Some become prototypes. Some are just questions I couldn't leave alone.

Exploring how immersive learning moves from a headset demo into educational settings.
I'm increasingly interested in products and experiences that sit between software, physical objects, bodies and space — especially physical computing, tangible interfaces, spatial interaction and embodied AI.
